Program Description

  • The Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedicine) has a strong evidence-based focus and uses innovative blended learning and assessment strategies, together with clinical placements, to develop high-level, practical, and clinical decision-making skills.

  • Students will be learning in our brand new and innovative teaching facility, including simulation rooms, debrief rooms and an immersive simulation lab with a control room.
  • In second and third year, they’ll be given three months of supervised clinical experience with an emergency ambulance service in rural or metropolitan NSW or the ACT.
  • Students will also have a chance to take up an international clinical placement, or short placements in the private paramedicine industry, mental health services, and community and primary healthcare.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

  • Successful Completion of Global Assessment Certificate with a GPA of 2.0.

  • Successful completion of Cambridge International or Edexcel GCE O Level examinations with at least 2 Credits and 2 Passes in 4 core subjects
